More about Dakota Danielle…
Dakota Danielle is a rising star from a small town who made a significant impact on the country music scene with her debut single, “One Church,” which independently garnered over 75,000 streams on Spotify. Following the premiere of its music video on The Country Network, she released her sophomore single, “Forever.”
In 2018, Dakota experienced the profound loss of her mother. At 27, she turned to songwriting as a means of healing, leading to the creation of her debut EP, “My Mother’s Daughter,” and the heartfelt single, “One Day Closer to You.” Dakota then took on the role of caretaker for her father, who was battling cancer. After his passing in June, her latest track took on a deeper meaning, resonating with anyone who has experienced loss. Her self-written projects offer a glimpse into her past and the transformative life events she has faced.
Dakota released the upbeat single “Backroads,” which premiered exclusively on The Boot and quickly surpassed 10,000 streams on Spotify. This year, she has continued her musical journey with the new single “It’s a Beginning” and promises more new music in the coming months.
On June 6, 2024, Dakota and Leah Crose released their latest hit, “Midwest.”
Dakota Danielle is dedicated to honoring her hometown and late parents, aiming to inspire, spread kindness, and share her story through her deeply personal yet captivating music.
“I live by the idea that when words fall apart, music speaks.”
